Short winter days leave windowsill herbs, seedlings and houseplants stretching for light. Clip this LED grow light to a shelf, desk or table edge, bend the gooseneck over the plants, and set the timer: it switches off after 3, 9 or 12 hours and comes back on at the same time the next day.

Why gardeners like it
  • Red and blue LEDs in every head, with three modes: red, blue, or both together.
  • Auto timer: 3, 9 or 12 hours on, then it repeats on a 24-hour cycle.
  • 5 brightness levels from the inline controller.
  • Flexible goosenecks bend in any direction to put light right where the plant needs it.
  • Spring clip holds onto shelves, desks and table edges without tools.

Questions

How close should it be to my plants?

Start about 8–12" (20–30 cm) above the leaves and move it closer for seedlings that stretch. If leaves pale or crisp, raise it.

How many hours a day should it run?

Most herbs and houseplants do well with 9–12 hours on the timer in winter.

Can it replace sunlight completely?

It works best as extra light for a windowsill or a shelf near a window. For a dark room, choose the 2-head version and keep it close.
